Charlie was born on the 27th February 1983. (his the baby of the group!!)
He grew up in the Old Kent Road of London, where he loved going to the pub with his Dad and Granddad so he could watch the live singers. It was His chance to watch an learn as he was fascinated by singers and performers as a kid.
At junior school he was always involved in the yearly school productions, and then at the age of 11 moved out of London to Kent, which was great because there were more opportunities to get involved in amature dramatics. Which he did, and performed in Singing In The Rain, Oliver, Blood Brothers, Jesus Christ Super Star and Me And My Girl. But the key moment for Charlie was when he played Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls.#
Then at 18 he got his first P.A system and started performing his swing tribute in pubs and clubs and eventually weddings, parties and corporate events.
At 21 Charlie got his first opportunity to take his swing tribute abroad around the Med, which he did, and has done for the last two summers.
he is delighted to be part of the Kings of Swing and can't wait to start.
